Your Cameras, Put to Work

We connect AI to the CCTV cameras and video management system you already run, and turn the footage into operational and compliance decision support for the people responsible for your sites.

What It Does

More Than Security Footage

Most large sites record far more video than anyone will ever watch. It is usually opened only after something has gone wrong. We put that footage to work on the cameras you already have, and give the people responsible a clear, verified view of what needs attention now.

  1. Works With What You Have

We connect to your existing cameras and video management system through standard integrations, including platforms such as Milestone, Genetec, Hikvision and Dahua. No rip-and-replace. We don’t sell or install cameras.

  2. Operations, Not Only Security

The cameras that watch your perimeter can also show how a site is running: a loading bay blocked for too long, queues building at a gate or counter, people working without the required PPE, poor housekeeping, or a walkway or emergency route that has been obstructed.

  3. Into the Tools You Already Use

Alerts and summaries go where your teams already work: your ticketing system, your ERP, Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp. Nobody has to sit and watch another screen.

  4. A Person Verifies Every Alert

This is decision support, not autopilot. Every alert carries the image or clip and the reason it was raised, so the right person can confirm or dismiss it in seconds. Each confirmed alert becomes an action that is assigned, resolved and logged with evidence.

Compliance

Compliance Against Your Legal Register

“Your legal register says what must happen on site. Some of it can be seen on camera. We watch that part continuously, and keep the evidence.”

Every site has its own legal register: the Acts, regulations and standards that apply to it, such as the OHS Act regulations relevant to a warehouse, plant or construction site. Most organisations check these through periodic inspections and audits, which show what was true on the day.

We work through your register with your SHE team, identify the obligations that can be observed on camera, and turn each one into a specific, visible control. Those controls are monitored continuously, and every alert, verification and close-out is recorded against the register item it relates to.

From Register Item to Closed-Out Action

  1. 01Legal register item

An obligation that applies to this site.

Example: personal safety equipment must be provided and used where the work requires it (OHS Act, General Safety Regulations).

  2. 02Observable control

What compliance looks like, in terms a camera can see.

Example: everyone inside the marked loading zone wears a hard hat and a high-visibility vest.

  3. 03Camera detection

The control is checked continuously on the cameras that cover it.

Example: a camera over the loading zone picks up a person without a hard hat for longer than the agreed threshold.

  4. 04Alert with evidence

A person sees the clip and the reason, and confirms or dismisses it.

Example: the shift supervisor receives the clip, time, camera, register item and reason on Teams, and confirms it.

  5. 05Action closed out

The action is assigned, resolved and logged against the register item.

Example: the supervisor addresses it on the floor, closes the ticket, and the record is added to the audit pack for that register item.

Illustrative example. Register items, controls, cameras and thresholds are agreed with your team for each site.

What You Receive

Coverage map
Every item in your register marked as observable on camera, partly observable, or not observable. Agreed with you before monitoring starts.
Continuous evidence
Verified events, images and clips, each linked to the register item it relates to and recorded as it happens.
Audit packs
Per register item, for any period: what was monitored, what was found, who acted, and how it was closed out.
Trend reporting
Recurring issues by site, area, shift and register item, so you can deal with causes rather than repeat findings.

Clear About Coverage

Only some register items can be seen on camera. Training records, appointments, maintenance logs, medical surveillance and most documentation cannot. We show you which items are covered and which are not before we start.

No camera system sees every event, which is why a person verifies each alert and why your existing controls stay in place. This gives you continuous evidence between inspections. It complements your audits; it does not replace them.

How It Works

Three Steps, Measured at Each

  1. Discovery & Site Assessment Assess

We visit the site and review your cameras, VMS, network and legal register with your team. You get a clear scope: which cameras, which use cases, which register items, and how success will be measured.

  2. Pilot on a Few Cameras Prove

We run the agreed use cases on a small number of cameras, in your real conditions. Accuracy is measured with your team against criteria agreed up front, so the decision to continue is based on results from your own site.

  3. Rollout, Tuning & Reporting Ongoing

We extend to more cameras and sites, connect alerts to your tools, and keep tuning as conditions change. Regular reporting shows what was detected, verified and closed out.

Privacy & Governance

Governance by Design

Cameras in the workplace raise fair questions from employees, unions and regulators. We design each deployment so those questions have clear answers.

POPIA-aligned
A defined purpose for each use case, minimal personal information, agreed retention periods and controlled access.
On-site processing
Video is processed on site where possible, so footage does not need to leave your premises for analysis.
Outbound-only
Our equipment connects outbound only. No inbound access to your network is required.
Read-only cameras
We take read-only access to video streams. Camera settings and recording stay under your control.
Audio
Off by default.
Workplace policies
We help you update CCTV and monitoring policies, signage and employee communication, so people know what is monitored and why.

Questions

Frequently Asked

Do we need new cameras?

No. We work with your existing cameras and video management system. During the site assessment we check each camera’s position, resolution and lighting against what you want to see. If a camera can’t support a use case, we tell you and suggest what would help, but we don’t sell or install cameras.

What happens to our footage?

Where possible, video is processed on site and does not leave your premises. Alerts carry only the image or short clip needed to verify them, plus event details. Retention periods and who can see what are agreed with you up front, in line with POPIA and your own policies. Your recordings stay in your VMS.

How accurate is it?

It depends on the camera, the lighting and what is being detected, so we don’t quote a general figure. Instead we pilot on a few cameras and measure accuracy on your footage against criteria agreed with your team before any rollout. Every alert is verified by a person, and we keep tuning after go-live.

Does it replace our safety officers or auditors?

No. It gives them continuous evidence and frees up time spent on routine checks, but many register items can’t be seen on camera, and judgement stays with your people. It complements inspections and audits; it does not replace them.

Which systems do you integrate with?

On the video side, common VMS platforms such as Milestone, Genetec, Hikvision and Dahua, through standard integrations and camera streams. On the output side, ticketing systems, ERPs, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp and email. Exact options depend on your VMS version and licence, which we confirm during the site assessment. As a bespoke software house, we can build an integration where none exists.
